Internal IT questions

We are not an integrator — is this built for internal teams?

Yes. An Internal IT workspace preset scopes the platform to designing and operating your own facilities — survey, design, coverage, rooms, installs, and orders — without the sales modules an integrator would use. You own the model of your own buildings.

Can we stop paying for a survey every time we remodel?

That is the point of a computable model. When a wall moves or a department shifts, the affected engines re-compute — and the autonomous virtual site survey re-walks the building and flags what broke. When you want physical ground truth, field-captured readings calibrate the model; you decide when a visit is actually worth it.

Our documentation lives in Visio and tribal knowledge. How do we start?

Pick one building. Import the floor plan — wall detection and cleanup are part of import — confirm materials, and place what is installed from the product library. From then on the as-built is the live state of that model, not a drawing someone has to remember to update.

Does it cover the conference rooms too?

Yes. Display sizing follows AVIXA DISCAS, speech intelligibility follows IEC 60268-16 STI, and microphone and camera coverage are assessed per seat — so the room that “feels bad” gets a number, and the fix gets proven before facilities re-books the installer.
