Wi-Fi coverage in SiteOps Command is computed by a deterministic engine from public, citable standards — ITU-R P.2040 material losses, P.526 diffraction, P.1238 indoor propagation — with Fresnel-zone awareness and measured antenna patterns, over the wall materials your building actually has.

Is SiteOps Command an Ekahau alternative?

For predictive Wi-Fi design, yes — with the difference that the RF model lives on the same building model as cameras, A/V, cabling, and power, and feeds a BOM, scope, and renewal lifecycle. If your work is exclusively deep Wi-Fi validation surveying, Ekahau remains a strong dedicated tool. Most integrators are designing the whole install, not one discipline.

How accurate is your RF prediction compared to Ekahau?

We don’t publish an accuracy comparison, because no independent measured-vs-computed benchmark exists yet — and we won’t invent one. What we publish is the basis of every number: ITU-R P.2040, P.526, and P.1238 propagation, Fresnel-zone and diffraction handling, measured antenna patterns, and your real wall materials. SOC never invents the numbers; the deterministic engines own every figure.

Do I still need a Sidekick?

What happens to the Wi-Fi design when a wall changes?
